Fall is in the air! Can you feel it? This is my favorite time of year, so I thought I’d celebrate by making a spooky tree.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Tomato cage
- Wire cutters
- String lights
- 3 black feather boas
- Styrofoam balls
- Wiggle eyes
- Spray adhesive
Cut the tomato cage down to a smaller size. I cut it and left some of the straight wire so I could curl it up to make a stand.
Secure the top of the cage with a tie. I used a bread tie.
Wrap the tree form with string lights.
Wrap the feather boas around the tree.
I liked how this was looking so much, that I almost left the tree like this!
Cut the Styrofoam balls in half and notch off a small part of the side of each. This allows you to glue the two flat sides together.
Next, glue on the wiggle eyes.
Lightly spray the back of the eyes with the adhesive and place randomly in the tree.
This is such an easy craft to make and you could do it in so many different ways. Come back tomorrow to see a round up of some of my favorite (and easy) Halloween decor!
