Updated Walls and Ceilings + Giveaway

Painting ceilings with a Graco Airless sprayerOur upstairs renovations on our house are well underway!  I am SO happy to say, that the walls and ceilings are painted and beautiful throughout the ENTIRE upstairs!  I hope you like pictures, because I went a little “before and after” crazy!  🙂

I have avoided painting the ceilings for years because I honestly can not stand to roll ceilings.  It takes forever, hurts my arms and takes forever… did I mention that already?  So I was thrilled when the wonderful folks at Graco sent me their Magnum X7 Sprayer, I couldn’t wait to try it out. DIY: Create Your Own Upholstered Cornice

Cornice HdrWe have some hideous drywall in the flip house.  We replaced most of it, but in the kitchen around the kitchen cabinets and windows, we left what was there in place.  So, to hide the serious flaws, I made some cornices to go along with our theme of white and gray.

DIY Craftsman Trim

Y’all, this bathroom makeover is never ending. As soon as I get one thing done, I think…ohh, what if I did this too.  And so it goes..on and on.

So as I was painting the bathroom, I noticed something really stuck out… and not in a good way.  My new colors for the bathroom are gray and white.. and my doors, trim and casing are all dark brown wood. [Read more…]
